Dr. Miller is an assistant professor and director of the mass communication program at Harding University in Searcy, Ark. His courses and academic interests include writing and editing, media law and ethics, convergent journalism, and social media effects. He also teaches in the university's Honors College.

Dr. Miller is husband to Sara, and father of Laura and Grant. He also loves fly fishing, baseball and well-manicured lawns.
